Hardware Systems Integration Engineer Job Description

The position of Hardware Systems Integration Engineer involves the integration, testing, and validation of hardware components and systems to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance. This includes setup of PC/Laptop, IP/Analog CCTV, NVR/DVR, networking equipment, IoT devices, and sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and test equipment, hardware components, and systems.
  • Communicate with software development teams to provide detailed hardware requirements and technical support.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of CCTV surveillance systems, including installation, maintenance, modifications, and servicing.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, manage cable infrastructure, and ensure proper storage recording and data integrity.
  • Procure necessary hardware equipment, manage vendor relationships, and handle warranty processes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory management and labeling of all hardware and equipment.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Manage hardware integration tasks according to project timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Higher NITEC diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in the engineering field, specifically with hardware system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
  • Physical stamina for demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:

Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm. Troubleshooting, installation, or maintenance works on weekends may be required.
