Job Description:

Role Summary:

As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering innovative technology solutions to customers. This includes participating in bid qualification, developing proposal designs, and providing technical support to sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of technical proposals for mid-to-large sales projects, working closely with internal teams to define project requirements.
  • Design and implement solution designs for new and existing customers, utilizing Orange Business Services' product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing team members to validate solution designs and costing activities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of external tools, systems, and processes to develop high-quality technical proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technological advancements and industry trends to maintain a high degree of technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering within the telecom industry.
  • Technical expertise in networking, unified communications, cloud, and IoT solutions.
  • Proven ability to collect and interpret customer requirements to produce cost-effective and efficient solutions designs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SD WAN solutions, such as Fortinet, VeloCloud, Cisco, and Silverpeak.
  • Technical knowledge of LAN, WAN & Voice integration.
  • Working knowledge of controls, such as firewalls, proxy, internet protection, and Zscaler.
  • Understanding of cloud technology and M2M/IoT principles.
