Position Overview:

As a Procurement Risk Manager at Tencent, you will undertake in-depth evaluations of the internal procurement operations, concentrating on marketing, services, and human resources categories throughout the region. Your role will involve assessing procedures, pinpointing potential risks, and offering actionable recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring that procurement practices align with risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of procurement processes and propose optimization strategies.
  • Generate and present supplier management performance reports.
  • Create cost analysis frameworks and assess pricing benchmarks.
  • Perform compliance audits of supplier admissions and conduct periodic onsite inspections.
  • Establish internal control standards and policies related to procurement.
  • Advise business stakeholders on procurement-related issues with professional insights.
  • Participate in significant procurement risk management initiatives and provide necessary support.
  • Review procurement methodologies, identify risks, and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvements in procurement processes and initiatives aimed at cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Team to identify areas for procurement enhancement and monitor progress.
  • Enhance awareness of procurement risks and cost control measures across the organization through training sessions and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally with procurement-related certifications (CIA, CPA, CERM, etc.).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing procurement, preferably within the internet sector or professional procurement consultancy.
  • A comprehensive understanding of procurement principles and best practices in cost management.
  • Knowledge of corporate risk management frameworks, ideally with a COSO background.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities and the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese Mandarin for effective collaboration with leaders and stakeholders across various markets.
