Job Summary

This role focuses on designing and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in training coordination, preferably in an aviation or MRO environment.

The Learning and Development Executive is responsible for identifying training needs, developing effective learning programs, and managing training plans for technical and support staff. This includes maintaining accurate training records and documentation for audits and inspections.

The successful candidate will be able to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and HR departments. They should have excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using training management software or Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of technical and support staff.
  • Develop, schedule, and manage training plans for aircraft Engineers, Technicians, and inspectors.
  • Maintain a training calendar and ensure timely execution of mandatory and refresher programs.
  • Ensure training programs comply with aviation authority regulations.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Support in preparation for audits by authorities or customers, providing relevant training data and reports.
  • Assist in designing training modules for safety, quality, human factors, and technical upskilling.
  • Support onboarding programs for new employees.
  • Conduct or coordinate internal training sessions, including induction, recurrent, and specialized training programs.
  • Liaise with external training companies on employee training requirements.
  • Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training databases.
  • Track training completions, expirations, and certifications to ensure personnel are qualified for assigned roles.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program and its trainer, and recommend any necessary improvements.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
