At Stamford American International School, we are seeking an experienced Relief Teacher to join our dynamic Middle School team. Our school is a leading international institution in Singapore, catering to students aged 2 months to 18 years old.

With students from over 70 national and linguistic backgrounds, our diverse community provides a rich educational experience for all. We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued, and we are looking for a skilled teacher who can help us achieve this vision.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds. They will have at least 3-5 years of experience in teaching children, preferably in the MYP or IB program, and hold relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent.

In addition to their teaching experience and qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student-centered learning, innovation, and technology integration. They will also be familiar with AERO standards and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching children
  • Relevant qualification such as a Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent
  • Experience in the MYP or IB program preferred
  • Advisory/Pastoral experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds
