Job Description:

As a Category Manager/Buyer, you will be at the forefront of shaping our beauty category, developing new products, and executing marketing strategies that will boost brand awareness and influence.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on trendy beauty trends, consumer needs, and preferences to determine product direction and market positioning. You will lead the product development process from idea conception to supplier selection and product launch, ensuring product uniqueness and market competitiveness.

Additionally, you will develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for the beauty category, working closely with the marketing team to boost brand awareness and influence. You will also monitor product sales, inventory data, and trends to adjust product mix and replenishment plans for steady growth and optimal inventory turnover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on trendy beauty trends, consumer needs, and preferences
  • Lead the product development process from idea conception to supplier selection and product launch
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for the beauty category
  • Monitor product sales, inventory data, and trends to adjust product mix and replenishment plans


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or above; relevant major preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in category management or product development in Beauty
  • Familiarity with the entire product lifecycle, from design to production and sales in the beauty sector
  • Strong market analysis and data interpretation skills to make data-driven decisions
  • Creative thinker with strong teamwork skills, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
