We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Medical Technologist Intern-Genomics to join our team in Singapore. As a Labcorp intern, you will have the chance to support meaningful assignments that complement your education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.

Internship Assignment Summary:

As a Medical Technologist Intern-Genomics, you will gain clinical experience working in the laboratory of a drug development company. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Observing analytical testing of specimens and interpreting test results
  • Performing quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Upkeep of lab equipment and maintaining laboratory supplies and good housekeeping
  • Rotating through other departments of the laboratory and performing routine clerical duties as required
  • Receiving instruction and mentorship from experienced professionals
  • Presenting your understanding of the training program to the team at the end of your training

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences or Biomedical Sciences
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A creative and self-motivated approach to work
