Job Summary:

We are seeking an expert in metal coatings to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electroplating, with experience in chrome plating and related processes.

  • This role involves the application of uniform chromium coatings to metal or plastic parts using chrome plating equipment and processes.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring chrome plating equipment and processes, preparing surfaces for plating, mixing, testing, and maintaining chemical solutions according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • They will inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and adherence to plating standards, troubleshoot plating defects, and adjust process parameters to ensure optimal results.
  • Maintenance of accurate production and quality records for each batch processed is also essential.

Requirements:

  • A proven experience in chrome plating or a related electroplating field.
  • Knowledge of plating chemicals, bath preparation, and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and thickness gauges.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
