Job Title: Process Optimization Expert

The role of the Process Optimization Expert is to provide technical support and guidance to customers, sales teams, and supply chain teams on product and process requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Servicing:
    • Provide day-to-day support and guidance on all product and process technical requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer technical requirements are met on time.
    • Offer technical advice (e.g., product specifications, applications, quality) to customers, Sales, and the Supply Chain team.
    • Manage customer-specific and new product specification requests.
    • Respond to customer technical questionnaires.
  • Manufacturing Support:
    • Support manufacturing plants in cross-functional teams to assist with process and quality improvements, troubleshooting, and complaint resolution.
    • Ensure that technology and quality standards for new and revised formulas/specifications are successfully transferred into manufacturing processes.
    • Provide technical expertise to the Engineering department to ensure new projects and plant modifications align with customer expectations and requirements.
  • Business Development:
    • Assist in identifying new business opportunities/assessment for currently marketed products as well as for new products framed in the oleochemical industry.
    • Participate in the process of analysis and evaluation of new investment projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical role within the Oleochemicals or derivatives industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others, as well as the ability to operate independently as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with a vision toward continuous improvement.
  • Frequent business travel may be required to Indonesia.
