Key Responsibilities

  • Provide food and beverage services, housekeeping, and leisure activities to the highest standards of service.
  • Support the chief and second steward/ess in conducting pre-voyage inspections to ensure a safe and successful voyage.
  • Collaborate with the deck crew to ensure smooth departures and arrivals.
  • Act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations to ensure vessel and passenger safety.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Maintain professional relationships with crew members to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of passengers.
  • Enable and support a culture of communication, collaboration, and professional growth among team members.
  • Prioritize personal and professional development, working with the chef and second steward/ess to enhance skills in leadership, communication, organization, and service operations.

Compliance and Safety

  • Operate the hospitality side of the vessel in accordance with Marina Bay Sands' standard operating procedures, checklists, and limitations.
  • Participate in emergency response and apply operational risk aversion.
  • Follow Marina Bay Sands' Workplace Safety and Health Policy practices.

Miscellaneous

  • Practice well-mannered behavior and grooming according to company standards.
  • Attend scheduled meetings as required.
  • Active involvement in Sands Care and sustainability programs.
