Data Science Specialist

A highly skilled and dedicated individual is sought to join our research team as a Data Science Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for data extraction, standardization and integration, as well as implementing algorithms and methodologies based on state-of-the-art research in data science.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator and lab members on one or more research projects involving external collaborators on interesting and challenging real-world datasets and problem statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop engaging conversational agents to enhance cognitive impairment detection and management;
- Perform data cleansing and processing for analysis of real-world datasets;
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for various problem statements;
- Assist with editing and preparation of manuscripts, reports and presentations;
- Participate in presentations and demos for exhibiting work at appropriate events;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with focus on AI/Machine Learning/Big Data;
- Solid programming and application development skills with experience in Python/Perl/R; mastery of C/C++/Java and experience with Tensorflow would be advantageous;
- Ability to read and understand research paper methodologies;
- Fluent English language skills and strong teamwork abilities;
