Independent Health and Safety Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an Independent Health and Safety Reviewer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in reviewing health and safety practices across Cognita sites as outlined in published frameworks and documents.

About the Role

The Independent Health and Safety Reviewer will review health and safety practices across Cognita sites, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and protocols. This involves conducting regular site visits, assessing risks, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Member of IOSH or equivalent
  • Experience in the educational sector with a strong understanding of facilities-based compliance
  • Ability to understand cultural differences towards compliance in a global setting
  • Interest or experience in understanding the principles of international health and safety legislation

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
