Sales and Margin Objectives

This position will be responsible for achieving sales and margin objectives for their defined sales territory of partner accounts. The role includes identifying and growing business in existing markets, while identifying new growing markets with partners. The successful candidate will assume complete responsibility for sales activity and development within a territory, executing promotionally effective marketing and sales programs for customers. They will establish and achieve sales goals and objectives for the territory, increase sales volume within the territory, and submit and maintain proper customer records, sales, activities, and other required reports and forms. The candidate will also develop proper relations and rapport with customers within the territory, increase sales revenue by contacting strategic accounts with a consultative approach, and build relationships with various types of influencers, including senior/top management. Additionally, they will work closely with internal resources to make business proposals and perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have account management experience in directly or indirectly with e-commerce and electronics retailers, be proficient in Japanese to liaise with Japanese Headquarter, and demonstrate leadership ability through direct or cross-functional teams. They will also have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to align a strategy and enable results through others. The candidate should also be able to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, be proficient in computer skills with Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate experience and success within a team selling approach. Furthermore, they should possess the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners, and clients using a Win/Win philosophy, demonstrate written and oral communication skills required to write formal reports of findings, and coordinate with teams on account strategy and the business department strategic plan. Finally, the candidate should be able to work cross-functionally and manage day-to-day activities.

Knowledge of Marine Products is preferred, as well as CRM experience and maintaining an accurate forecast.
