We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Wintel (Windows Server) and Linux environments.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across Wintel and Linux environments.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and vulnerability remediations in compliance with IT security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, system faults, and service outages, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain system documentation, change logs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of system infrastructure projects and business continuity plans.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to improve efficiency.
  • Support integration and configuration of enterprise applications and services.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to deliver robust and secure IT solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support when required.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows Clustering.
  • Proficient in managing Linux environments, including system configuration, patching, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) and ITSM platforms.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and practices, including access control and auditing.
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE), or Linux+ are an advantage.
