Job Overview

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical design solutions within assigned project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute mechanical designs to meet Class and Technical specification requirements.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the project and perform assigned tasks with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with project managers and section leaders to ensure mech/HVAC related man-hours and schedules are accurately reported.
  • Lead and mentor mech/HVAC teams to achieve project goals and deliver results.
  • Train and guide junior engineers and draftsmen to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare, review, and verify HVAC calculations, 2D SLD/DLD, 3D models, specifications, and vendor drawings.
  • Participate in project meetings, provide technical support, and coordinate with stakeholders including shipyard/consultant/vendor.
