Job Title: Site Operations Engineer
">Description:
The role of a Site Operations Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of project site activities. This includes collaborating with the Project Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, enforcing quality, safety, and compliance standards.
The responsibilities of this position are multifaceted:
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives through effective management of site operations. Regularly update stakeholders on site progress, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to internal policies and quality requirements outlined in the Excellence process. Ensure that all work conducted adheres to these standards.
- Progressive Product Line Installation: Conduct thorough reviews of progressive product line installation checklists, ensuring timely completion.
- Communication Facilitation: Host bi-weekly toolbox meetings to facilitate communication and address technical queries among team members.
- Installation Timeline Monitoring: Monitor overall installation timelines, proposing recovery plans as needed to mitigate any delays.
- Leadership and Coordination: Lead weekly site meetings with subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of compliance with quality standards and workmanship expectations.
- Work Verification: Verify the quality and quantity of subcontractor work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain a detailed work schedule to guarantee timely task completion.
- Troubleshooting and Design Resolution: Resolve technical discrepancies and coordinate with the drawing team to address design or site challenges.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for this role.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant site or project engineering experience, preferably with supervisory exposure.
- Experience in local construction practices, ideally within mixed-use or large-scale residential developments.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills are required for success in this position.
