The Operations Supervisor role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless daily cleaning operations across assigned sites. This position demands an individual who can expertly plan, coordinate, and supervise these activities while maintaining service excellence, adhering to safety standards, and fostering client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management:
- Strategically plan and oversee the implementation of daily cleaning operations.
- Maintain strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client requirements, and industry benchmarks.
- Regularly conduct site inspections and audits to uphold service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and train cleaning teams, focusing on performance evaluations and development.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with relevant guidelines.
- Address and resolve team-related issues promptly and fairly.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling feedback and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Prepare and present operational reports to clients and management.
- Support contract renewals and service expansions.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Enforce critical safety protocols and ensure adherence to BizSafe/ISO standards.
- Investigate incidents, implementing corrective actions and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices.
- Administrative & Strategic Support:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of necessary supplies.
- Assist in budgetary control, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager in process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Diploma in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in operations/supervisory roles (cleaning, facilities, or hospitality preferred).
- WSQ Certificate in Cleaning Supervision (or commitment to obtain within 6 months).
- Proficiency in English and basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, scheduling software).
- Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in healthcare, school, or industrial cleaning environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/45001 and BizSafe standards.
- Class 3/4 driving license (if applicable).
Work Environment
- Location: Office + site visits (local travel required).
- Shift: 5.5-day work week (may include weekends/PH for urgent projects).
