Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Derivatives Trader and Business Development Specialist to join our team at KGI Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the derivatives market.
  • Become an expert on exchange-traded and exchange-cleared OTC derivatives products, with a deep understanding of their applications and benefits.
  • Nurture strong relationships with institutional clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and client onboarding processes.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a related field, such as finance or economics.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales trading/dealing with institutional clients or institutional sales experience.
  • Licenses required for working in Singapore.
  • Familiarity with major global exchanges, such as SGX, HKEX, CME, ICE, LME.
  • A self-motivated individual with a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels.
  • The ability to focus and prioritise key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships.
