Job Title: Science Laboratory Maintenance Specialist

Role Summary:

Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our science laboratories and their equipment is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining our school's green hub area, gardens, hydroponics area, and other planting grounds and their equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment in the science laboratory and its equipment.
  • Assist teachers in preparing science resources, practical performance tasks, and environmental sustainability projects.
  • Organize and maintain special rooms such as the Art Room during school holidays by organizing resources.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Science department as required.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a Primary School setting is preferred.
  • Work or personal experience in gardening or environmental-related activities is also beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong organizational skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required for administrative tasks.
