Job Title: Operations Team Lead

 

The Operations Team Lead plays a key role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth execution of departmental functions. This includes supporting the Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising day-to-day operations.


  • Assist the Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising day-to-day operations.
  • Lead and motivate a small team to achieve departmental KPIs and targets.
  • Prepare reports, track performance metrics, and propose process improvements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Handle escalated issues and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff to enhance team capability.
  • Stand in for the Manager during his/her absence when required.


Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages beneficial for stakeholder engagement.
