Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Elastic Observability Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and visibility across applications and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting observability solutions using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, Elastic APM). This includes deploying, managing, and optimizing Elastic Stack for logging, metrics, and tracing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Elastic Stack for logging, metrics, and tracing.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualizations in Kibana.
  • Develop and manage log pipelines using Logstash, Beats, or Elastic Agent.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance Elastic Stack components in production environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to establish and promote observability best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Linux operation systems and Elastic Stack. You should also possess knowledge of observability concepts including logs, metrics, traces, and APM. In addition, experience with Elasticsearch cluster management, optimization, and tuning is essential. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash) are also beneficial.
