Job Title: Subject Matter Experts Specialist

About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Subject Matter Experts in aviation safety investigations. This position requires a deep understanding of the core principles, purpose, and exemplary investigation methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fundamentals of aviation safety investigations including the core principles and purpose, as well as exemplary investigation methodologies and how they enable investigators to methodically review potential contributing factors.
  • Best practices for safety investigations including interviews with individuals involved, investigation environment, support framework, post-investigation actions, etc.
  • Conduct meetings with selected authorities to ensure critical areas regarding investigations are considered and addressed, aligning with existing regulatory/legislative requirements.
  • Engage with management and operational personnel of aviation organisations and professional bodies/unions to gain insights on investigation methodologies and practices applied by their respective organisations.
  • Iterate with the aviation organisations and professional bodies/unions as necessary for finalisation of content.
  • Conduct one-to-one interviews with selected personnel from the aviation industry to gather real-life case studies/perspectives on psychological and organisational factors influencing the course of investigation.
  • Draft and finalise the content of the best practices document, structure and format it into a suitable format for public consumption, subject to client approval.
  • Develop presentation slides to launch and communicate the final document at an industry forum.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Singaporean / PR
  • 5 days work week
  • Preferably 6 years WSHO Experience
  • Preferably experience in Aviation Safety Culture Study
  • Medically fit
