Research Scientist in Plant Genetics

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Scientist to join our team at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in plant genetics, with a focus on molecular genetic studies of plant development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct experiments to study gene function in plant development
  • Analyze and interpret data from molecular, genetic, biochemical, and bioimaging experiments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and publications

Requirements:

  • PhD in Life Sciences from a recognized university
  • At least one first-author research paper in a reputable international peer-reviewed journal
  • Proven track record in performing molecular, genetic, biochemical, and bioimaging experiments
  • Prior experience in working on crops is an advantage
