Product Development Specialist

You are an experienced leader in the food and beverage industry with a proven track record of driving innovation and overseeing product development from conception to market launch.

Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the creation of new products, staying up-to-date on consumer trends and maintaining quality standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key duties will include conducting thorough market research, generating creative product ideas that align with brand goals, and formulating products that meet taste, texture, and nutritional criteria.

You will collaborate with the Research and Development team to experiment with new ingredients and technologies, as well as oversee prototype development and sensory testing to refine product attributes based on consumer feedback.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, fostering collaboration among departments such as marketing, supply chain, and production to ensure successful product launches.

Additionally, you will work closely with procurement and production teams to optimize costs, source ingredients efficiently, and ensure smooth scalability from pilot to full-scale production.

To qualify for this position, you should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Technology, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.

In addition to your educational background, you must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in food and beverage product development.

Your expertise should encompass food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance, supported by strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
