Scientific Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and fabrication, with experience working with various materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and manufacture parts using various materials, including metals, polymers, and composites.
- Operate modern manufacturing equipment, including CNC machining, laser cutting, and traditional tools.
- Tasked with 3D printing job requests and maintaining high-quality prints.
- Plan for new equipment and workflow to improve workshop capability and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics, Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Diploma in Precision Engineering.
- Relevant work experience of at least five to six years in a manufacturing or research environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Coding of CNC machines and programming languages.
- CAD design software and CAM package to interact with CNC machines.
- Milling, turning, drilling of metals and polymer materials.
- 3D printer operations and maintenance.

- Remuneration based on a 12-month salary structure.
- Annual variable bonus subject to performance.
