Investment Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking highly motivated investment analysts to join our team dedicated to fundamental research and idea generation in Asian equities. Our focus is on Japanese equities with growing exposure across Asia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research or buy-side investing, with expertise in financial modeling and valuation. Proven ability to produce differentiated investment ideas through rigorous due diligence is essential.

Responsibilities include conducting deep fundamental research, building financial models, analysing company performance and valuations, identifying industry trends and macro drivers, generating high-conviction investment ideas and presenting to the investment team.

The role begins with a focus on research and investment idea generation, but depending on performance and ability, there is scope to gain exposure to portfolio discussions and risk management over time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in equity research or buy-side investing
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise
  • Proven ability to produce differentiated investment ideas through rigorous due diligence
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
