Costing and Inventory Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the Costing and Inventory Professional role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting global cost and inventory accounting and reporting activities.

  • Support accurate and timely completion of tasks related to costing and inventory accounting processes.
  • Analyze production cost variance and assist in inventory reconciliation to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations teams during cycle counts and investigate inventory variances to maintain accurate records.
  • Support the alignment of costing processes between different operations.
  • Perform cost roll-ups for new materials and components, maintaining up-to-date records in ERP systems.
General Accounting Requirements
  • Process accounts payable invoices with accurate GL coding, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals, to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain and update selected balance sheet schedules, providing valuable insights into company performance.
  • Support quarterly GST submissions and ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
  • Assist in preparing documents and schedules for annual external audit, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide effective support to management in validating accounting for periodic reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Have relevant experience in manufacturing costing and general accounting.
  • Be proficient in ERP systems, with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Display a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Exhibit self-motivation with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
