Expert Chemical Engineer Sought
Job Description:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, specifying, installing, commissioning, and optimizing high-purity chemical and gas delivery systems in semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Design complex chemical and gas delivery systems, including storage, distribution piping, process integration, and effluent scrubber units.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications for all chemical and gas systems.
- Perform flow, pressure, and compatibility calculations to optimize system efficiency.
- Specify critical components and ensure designs meet all applicable codes and regulations.
- Conduct research and development on emerging facilities and technologies to support advanced semiconductor processes.
- Provide technical expertise during construction, guiding contractors on proper installation of chemical and gas systems.
- Review and approve construction submittals, shop drawings, and contractor work plans.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure installations meet design and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers for timely and compliant delivery of materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in chemical/gas system design and engineering, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech industries.
- Strong knowledge of chemical and gas delivery systems, safety standards, proficiency in CAD and process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen), excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
