Experienced Chemical Process Specialist Wanted

A vacancy exists for a Chemical Process Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Chemical Process Specialist, you will play a key role in monitoring and maintaining the operations of process units and equipment by measuring, recording and controlling process operating parameters.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine checks on process equipment such as pumps and compressors to ensure smooth operation. Monitor and control process operating parameters to optimize process performance. Troubleshoot systems and components' faults in accordance with established procedures and specifications. Maintain accurate records of process operating parameters. Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes. Perform emergency shutdowns of process equipment as required. Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Provide technical support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology. At least 3 years' working experience as a Process Technician in a chemical industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Physical stamina to perform duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Familiarity with industrial processes and equipment is an asset.
