Job Description:

As a Chemical Process Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the chemical processes within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.

  • Perform routine chemical analysis of plating baths to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain bath chemistry within specified limits by adding required chemicals in a timely manner.
  • Develop and optimize plating formulations and additive systems to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise with plating concentration results.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to resolve process-related issues.
  • Document all test results, chemical additions, and bath maintenance for record-keeping purposes.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct chemical inventory management to prevent shortages and overstocking.
  • Train lab technicians on safe chemical handling and process best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, 1-3 years of laboratory experience is preferred, along with strong knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
