Supply Chain Coordinator Role

This is a role that requires an individual who can effectively manage logistics operations, coordinate with teams and ensure inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate delivery schedules for new product releases and restock requests in accordance with internal shipping guidelines.
  • Manage import procedures for finished goods from country of origin to local warehouse.
  • Pick and pack products for shipment with the local warehouse.
  • Handle export functions for products to different stakeholders across the network of distributors.
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels for both local and overseas warehouses through regular cycle counts and disposal.
  • Liaise with 3rd party logistics providers to obtain shipping quotes and compare costs for raw materials import shipments.
  • Collaborate with the Events Team to ship promotional materials timely and accurately.
  • Pick, pack and arrange courier shipments as needed.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and optimize logistics costs.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party logistics providers, ensuring they meet service level commitments and costs are maintained.
  • Verify invoices from 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Prepare product availability reports and distribute them to relevant stakeholders on a fortnightly basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent field of study.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in logistics customer service or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of import and export procedures, including Air & Sea freight.
  • Understanding of Incoterms 2020 and Harmonised Code classification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and task management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office software and courier ship manager platform.
  • Proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Willingness to work in a warehouse environment when required.
  • Flexibility to work some weekends/public holidays for Company events.
