Teaching Culinary Arts Instructor

The primary responsibility of this position is to teach and conduct cooking classes with a focus on delivering engaging and educational experiences. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the cooking studio, ensuring a clean and organized environment that meets high culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive cooking classes tailored to diverse skill levels.
  • Manage the daily activities of the cooking studio, maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for cooking classes, considering various dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Optimize food costs by reducing waste and improving resource allocation.
  • Ensure punctuality and prepare necessary ingredients and tools before each class begins.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as culinary arts or hospitality management.
  • Relevant experience in cooking instruction, preferably in an Asian cuisine specialty.
  • Ability to create innovative recipes and maintain exceptional culinary standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and students.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of multiple cuisines, including Asian and international flavors.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities.
  • Quality control expertise and knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
