Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking for Asia Pacific

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Relationship Managers in fostering connections with the commodity trading subsidiaries of leading Western and Asian multinational firms.
- Oversee and mitigate credit risks associated with clients seeking financing, including conducting annual assessments of the customer portfolio.
- Collaborate with senior team members to formulate business strategies for our subsidiary banking operations, which entails coordination with colleagues across various nations and providing regular updates to senior management on progress.
- Enhance communication within the team, particularly with Japanese staff members.
- Serve as a representative for the team in specific areas such as compliance, working in conjunction with relevant offices within the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Marketing, Accounting, or Finance.
- Familiarity with financial and managerial accounting principles and banking regulations applicable in Asian markets.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate banking, with a preference for candidates with a background in commodities banking.
- Proven experience managing relationships with top-tier Western and Asian multinational corporations while residing in Asian countries.
- Strong banking competencies, particularly in credit analysis.
- Effective communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in leading teams across different countries.
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Able to perform under pressure with a keen attention to detail.
