Database Systems Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Software Development Expert. This role involves developing and maintaining robust database systems, ensuring the seamless operation of business-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and optimising database solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database solutions to support software applications
- Collaborate with teams to understand and address complex business requirements
- Develop and maintain efficient database objects
- Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Participate in planning and implementation of database migrations, upgrades, and backups
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Database Developer
- Proficiency in SQL, database design, and optimisation techniques
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
