Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant Nurse Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care and achieve excellence in all aspects of our services.
Responsibilities- Oversee the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant nursing standards and regulations, including those set by the Ministry of Health and Singapore Nursing Board.
- Lead quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Promote evidence-based practices and nursing care delivery that align with best practices in the industry.
- Develop and maintain written policies and procedures to guide nursing care delivery.
- Ensure smooth transitions of patients from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible.
- Direct care of patients to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Manage staff development and competencies upgrading through various opportunities, including formal education, in-house or approved online learning programs.
- Guide orientation and induction programs for new staff.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Nursing or Degree in Nursing
- Full RN Registration with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
