Lifeskills Coach

At TOUCH Community Services Limited, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lifeskills Coach to join our team. As a Lifeskills Coach, you will play a vital role in implementing holistic services and programs that benefit and make an impact on the lives of our clients.

• Develop and implement training curriculum in collaboration with the team.
• Assess and chart individual care plans with social workers for each trainee, reporting progress to the Centre Manager on a quarterly basis.
• Deliver lesson plans, mentor, and nurture trainees in sub-competency skills, employing creative and innovative efforts to stimulate their interests and enhance their knowledge and skills.
• Conduct exercise and health-related activities for trainees, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Identify, monitor, and chart progress of trainees weekly, based on lesson plans and practical sessions.
• Assist the Senior Lifeskills Coach in training trainees for open employment and work with the team to ensure they meet employment standards.
• Maintain courteous and respectful communication with families, keeping them informed of activities, welfare, conduct, and progress of trainees.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams for training, discipline, and assessment of trainees.

• Diploma or degree holder.
• Preferably with Special Education or Disability Studies training and 1-2 years of experience working with persons with special needs.
• Basic skills in MS Excel, MS Doc, and intermediate skills in MS Presentation.
• Passionate and dedicated to working with people with special needs.
