About the Role

The Regional Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Regional Finance Controller in providing financial analysis to drive business decisions, optimize expenses, and manage capital commitments for the ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly Reporting
    • Analyse budget and forecast variances and advise management on risks and opportunities.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, supply chain losses, and conversion spending to identify trends.
    • Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis on capital spending to support business objectives.
    • Support cost centre owners in managing variable budgets and ensure accurate accruals for open purchase orders.
    • Prepare monthly reporting packages and provide analysis to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting
    • Assist in the development of forecasts, plans, and other financial requirements for the ASEAN region.
    • Work closely with finance and stakeholders to prepare periodic forecasts and identify trends.
    • Liaise with cost centre owners to develop quarterly and annual forecasts.
    • Make recommendations to management on cost-saving opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, including experience in supporting a manufacturing environment.

  • Business acumen and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
