Senior UX/UI Designer - Freelance Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our freelance team. As a key member of our design crew, you will be responsible for shaping end-to-end user experiences, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full UX process, from user research and journey mapping to wireframes, flows, prototypes, and testing.
  • Define and deliver end-to-end experiences across web and mobile platforms, grounded in user needs.
  • Apply and extend design systems and UI libraries, or create them from scratch when needed.
  • Run and facilitate Design Thinking workshops with clients, stakeholders, and users.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and strategists to bring ideas to life.
  • Contribute to business development, helping shape proposals and pitches where UX thinking adds value.
  • Mentor junior designers, share your craft, review their work, and elevate team quality.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in UX, interaction, or product design, with a portfolio that proves it.
  • Systems-thinking approach, not just screens.
  • Fluency in Figma, Sketch, and front-end logic.
  • Comfortable leading workshops and client conversations.
  • Ability to move fast, stay structured, and deliver quality under pressure.
  • Agile/lean team experience and love for fast validation.
  • Fluency in English; German fluency is highly preferred for upcoming projects, Mandarin is a bonus.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and turning it into elegant, testable UX.
