We are seeking a seasoned culinary professional to join our team as a Teppanyaki Head Chef. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced chef to lead our kitchen and drive the success of our Teppanyaki restaurant.


This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service in the Teppanyaki section. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent culinary knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Culinary Expertise

The successful candidate will have:


  • Proven experience in preparing and cooking a variety of Teppanyaki dishes to high standards of quality, taste, and presentation;
  • Knowledge of kitchen management principles, including inventory control, food safety, and hygiene practices;
  • Familiarity with menu planning and development, including creating new dishes and menu items;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests during the cooking process and provide a unique dining experience.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role;
  • Strong leadership abilities, with proven experience in managing teams and driving results;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with staff, guests, and management effectively;
  • Ability to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs;
  • Capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
