Safety-Critical Plant Operator
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment and process plant operations.
Key responsibilities include operating the plant to achieve 100% availability, dispatching treated water, complying with WPA and O&M procedures, meeting quantity and quality targets, and monitoring daily chemical consumption.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing O&M work in strict compliance with safety, environment, pollution control, and housekeeping regulations.
They will also report and record any operations abnormalities to the supervisor and carry out rectification plans promptly to restore both dispatch water quality and quantity.
Other key duties include complying with environment, health, and safety regulations for all works carried out in the plant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The minimum qualification required is a minimum of two years' experience in related water treatment or process plant operations.
Able to perform troubleshooting skills and familiar with water treatment plant equipment are essential requirements.
Furthermore, candidates should be able to multi-task, innovative to resolve problems at site, perform overtime, and shift work if required.
Knowledge of Lab Operations Process and/or possession of Forklift License preferred but not mandatory.
