Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Generate and research ideas for programs, pitch for commissions, and write and read news bulletins.
  • Content Creation: Source contributors, book interviewees, and undertake editing, interviewing, and reporting duties as needed.
  • Logistics Management: Manage the logistics of getting people, resources, and equipment together at the right place and time.
  • Presenting: Present programs or manage presenters for both pre-recorded and live output.
  • Copyright and Media Law: Ensure that copyrights are cleared and understand media law.
  • Archive Management: Contribute to and make use of an archive of audio resources that can be reused.
  • Audience Engagement: Respond to audience feedback and direct them to other departments when applicable.
  • User-Generated Content: Produce and put to use user-generated content.
Requirements
  • A Diploma/Degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Effectively bilingual with good written Chinese communication skills.
  • Highly committed, passionate, organized, and creative individual who enjoys working in a radio production environment.
  • A keen interest in Business and Finance news.
  • Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity.
