Aviation Design Specialist We seek a talented, experienced Architect to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, particularly within aviation or large-scale public infrastructure environments, and will bring expertise in delivering design solutions that align with the unique requirements of airport and aviation facilities. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented professional capable of developing efficient, sustainable, and innovative design concepts that enhance user experience, streamline operational efficiency, and meet regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
  1. Develop conceptual and detailed designs for aviation projects that are functional, sustainable, and visually compelling.
  2. Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to align design solutions with project goals and client expectations.
  3. Manage design projects of varying scales, including airport expansions and facility upgrades, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines to ensure design feasibility, compliance, and integration.
  5. Produce detailed drawings, models, and specifications using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
  6. Ensure all designs meet aviation regulations, building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability requirements.
  7. Present design concepts, integrate feedback, and liaise with airport authorities and regulatory bodies to meet operational and safety standards.
  8. Provide oversight during construction, conduct site visits, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Architectural experience, with experience/interest in aviation or large-scale public infrastructure environments. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design software.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, building codes, IATA ADRM compliance, and sustainable design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design ideas clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects, from design through construction phases.
