Electrical and Mechanical Systems Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Coordinator plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth delivery of mechanical and electrical works on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise M&E installations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and building services.
- Review M&E drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with architectural and structural plans.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve design and site issues.
- Monitor progress of M&E works on-site and report to the Project Manager regularly.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend coordination meetings and assist in integrating M&E systems with project planning.
- Manage materials, tools, and labor requirements for M&E installations.
- Ensure proper documentation and assist with testing and commissioning processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in M&E coordination in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and M&E schematics.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or Revit MEP knowledge is desirable.
