Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our finance team on a six-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience within a reputable family office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and controls.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA/CPA qualifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant auditing experience, in-house finance roles, or within a family office environment.
  • Experience overseeing outsourced accounting providers is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
