Lead Robotics Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Singapore's position in Robotics and AI. Your work will focus on elevating Technology Readiness Levels 5 to 7, contributing significantly to Singapore's digital future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the prototype strategy for robotics in alignment with our organization's mission.
  • Lead a small team of engineers and work within an agile, cross-functional group to develop prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for embodied AI in robotics.
  • Engage in the design, implementation, and deployment of AI algorithms related to robotics foundational models, and embodied agents.
  • Keep abreast with the latest advancements in AI for robotics systems and prepare technical papers, design documentation, and test reports.
  • Foster collaboration with academic and industry counterparts to facilitate the transition and innovation of research findings into industry applications.
Requirements:
  • PhD / Masters / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Enthusiastic and open-minded about developing AI-driven robotics applications.
  • Exceptional engineering skills for rapid prototyping and MVP development.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in training large language models, multimodal generative models, and control policies.
  • Good interpretation skills, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and communicating persuasively with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies, adept at maintaining roadmap plans, and skilled in articulating, managing, and adapting to changes promptly.
