Position Overview
As a Technical Account Manager, you will deliver expert architectural and operational insights aimed at maximizing customer value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions, offer technical direction, and advocate for customer interests.
  • Ensure AWS environments maintain operational health while minimizing costs and complexities.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, comprehending their business objectives and technical hurdles.
  • Leverage your technical expertise and customer focus to lead discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Engage with a diverse range of partners, from developers to executive leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customers to extract further value from AWS.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of service interruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning.
  • As part of the broader Enterprise Support team, provide post-sales consultative expertise.
  • Address a variety of challenges as customers transition their workloads to the cloud.
  • Enhance customer capabilities through workshops and informational sessions.

A Day in the Life
As a trusted advisor, you will significantly influence our customers' ability to leverage cloud technology effectively. You will design and implement strategies to promote the adoption and utilization of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical engineering.
  • Proficiency in operational parameters and troubleshooting across two or more of the following areas: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or application development in a distributed systems context.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS services or other cloud solutions.
  • Experience in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing role as a technical lead.
  • Background as a technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect, or in a similar capacity.
