Mathematics Tutor Job Description

This is a part-time or freelance opportunity for individuals with strong mathematical backgrounds to tutor students from local and international schools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one math tuition for primary, secondary, JC, and international school students.
  • Prepare and customize lesson materials according to the student's needs.
  • Buid exam strategies and facilitate focused learning.
  • Review and mark assignments.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback after each class.
  • Aess students regularly according to curriculum requirements.
  • Write term progress reports as required.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background in mathematics.
  • Responsible, patient, and passionate about teaching.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the MOE syllabus is an advantage.
