Marketing Manager Job Description

We are seeking a marketing professional to drive shopper traffic, enhance customer experience, and support sales through mall-wide campaigns, promotions, and events.

  • The successful candidate will conduct market research to assess opportunities and better understand customer needs.
  • They will conceptualize, plan, and execute mall-wide promotions and events to boost shopper traffic and sales.
  • This role involves sourcing potential licensees to drive Advertising & Promotions revenue through the booking of atrium spaces, roadshows, and ad placements.
  • The candidate will develop, implement, and monitor the annual marketing calendar and budgets.
  • Key responsibilities include planning and managing advertising, promotions, and digital marketing strategies (social media, website, in-mall directories).
  • Strong working relationships with tenants, partners, sponsors, and agencies are crucial to drive participation and ensure successful launches of campaigns.
  • The Marketing Manager will track, analyse, and report on A&P effectiveness, recommending improvements for future campaigns.
  • They will manage social media content and engagement (contests, promotions, feedback, and comments).
  • This role also involves supporting design and production of marketing collaterals (posters, decals, signage, displays).
  • Administrative tasks such as procurement, financial processes, and vendor management are also part of this role.
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related discipline is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in A&P /mall marketing, preferably from small heartland malls.
  • Experience in event management, digital marketing, and social media marketing is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing (social media platforms, paid media buy, and analytics) is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ideal candidate must be proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
