Procurement and Contract Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing and tendering to contract administration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop procurement strategies
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of pre-tender documentation and respond to tender clarifications and amendments
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents for control and implementation
- Review commercial aspects and negotiate claims with clients and sub-contractors
- Attend site meetings and assist Project Managers in the preparation of monthly progress payment and variation orders
- Liaise closely with Main Contractors and Clients' QS in regard to claims and negotiation of claims and finalisation of account
- Analyse scope of work in projects and contracts for effective contract administration
- Monitor project costs and prepare general financial administration
Requirements:
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and strong leadership qualities
- At least 5 years of experience in Civil Works
- Efficient, analytical skills, and able to work independently
- Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCad
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent
