Spa Therapist Job Description

As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa services to our clients. Your expertise in various massage techniques, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies will help our guests relax and rejuvenate.


  • Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest is crucial to ensure excellent customer service and accurate billing.
  • You will communicate with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • In the event of a guest complaint, you will resolve the issue promptly and report any accidents to your supervisor for further action.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use are essential for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • You will explain massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and provide suitable recommendations as needed, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to your supervisor will help maintain a seamless operation.
  • Before providing spa services, you will enquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies, prioritizing their health and safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in spa therapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Familiarity with spa software and inventory management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
